Description
Hiddur Olam: Bereshit – Genesis reimagines twelve Torah portions as radiant encounters between humanity and the Divine. Artist and author Mike Wirth fuses digital craft and hand-made technique into a visionary style he calls Jewish Futurism, where Torah unfolds through hidden light, color, and imagination.
Each artwork is paired with reflections revealing the Kabbalistic and Mussar ideas, design decisions, and spiritual discoveries that shaped it. What began in 2024 as Wirth’s year-long challenge, to illustrate all fifty-four parshiot, evolved into a living Torah practice of meditation, study, and creation shared weekly with a global audience.
From studio to study halls in the U.S. and Tzfat, this journey bridges art, mysticism, and devotion. Whether you seek new ways to engage Torah or are simply drawn to the beauty of Genesis, Hiddur Olam offers an invitation to encounter sacred text through creativity itself.
Book 1 of the Hiddur Olam series—art and practice for beautifying the world through creative Torah.
